By now it is common knowledge that the fame associated with Rio de Janeiro is that it has important attractions that keep making tourists come here year after year.

The Rio Industrial Week 2010 will be held in the city between August 4th and 7th. This 2010 edition is expected to bring to life the industrial sector in the southeast with four major important events, as follows: the first edition of Solutec – Feira Nacional de Soluções Tecnológicas (technological solutions trade show), Expomac Rio – Brazilian metal and mechanics trade show, Eletron – Brazilian trade show for the electrical and electronic industry and industrial automation and Feipack Rio – Brazilian packing trade show).

Starting on the 5th of the month and ending on the 7th, Rio will be the home of Safety 2010 – III Congresso Brasileiro Sobre Eventos Adversos em Medicina| Safety 2010 – 3rd Brazilian Congress On Adverse Events In Medicine event which will focus upon the technical aspects of diagnosis, prevention and control of adverse events and the patient’s safety. From August 11th to the 13th, Rio de Janeiro will be the home of Naval Shore 2010 – VII Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries Expo and Conference. Here, the fair will be promoting business meetings on the naval sector as well as offshore. In the schedule, are listed a couple of conferences and business rounds. Also starting on the 11th, but this time ending on September 19th will be the event called – Living more for less – luxury you can afford. The Cariocão 2010 – VI Congresso da Sociedade de Otorrinolaringologia do Estado do Rio de Janeiro | Cariocão 2010 – 4th Congress of the Rio de Janeiro ear, Nose and Throat Society event will be organized between the 12th and 14th of the month and will focus upon the fields of nose, throat and ear studies. At the event, numerous renowned lecturers from all Brazil as well as international specialists have announced their commitment to the event.

Starting on August 17th and ending two days later will be the 52th edition of the National Hospitality Congress – Conotel 2010. This edition will have a theme named “O Brasil é a bola da vez” (Brazil is in the spotlight now), which will focus upon the “Commercial Sustainability of Brazilian Hospitality Industry”.
